Christian Louboutin (born 1963) is a French shoe designer. Louboutin shoes have a trademark red lacquer sole. Louboutin felt his shoes were missing something and saw red Chanel nail polish, and instantly, he knew it would complete the shoe. Since then, the red sole, became the signature of his shoes.
