Paul Watson, (born December 2, 1950) is a Canadian animal rights and environmental activist. He is the founder and president of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and the co-founder of Greenpeace, although Greenpeace disputes this assertion. He was named by Time Magazine as one of its Environmental Heroes of the 20th Century” in 2000. “
