Sydney Leroux

Sydney Rae Leroux (born May 7, 1990) is a Canadian-born American soccer player. She is a forward for Seattle Sounders Women and member of the US women’s national team. She played in college for the UCLA women’s soccer team, having previously played for the Vancouver Whitecaps where she made her professional debut at the age of fifteen, the youngest player to do so for the team.Leroux was the number one pick of the Atlanta Beat in the Women’s Professional Soccer league draft of college seniors January 13, 2012. The draft was held as part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
