Cherie Alexandra Daly was born in New York City. She was cast by Joel Hopkins in her first independent feature Jump Tomorrow at the age of 12. She grew up in New York City where she attended the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS). She also attended the Sundance Film Makers Lab where she played the lead in the film Caucasia with Connie Britton, Kerry Washington, Michael Beach and Jake Gyllenhaal. That same summer she was cast in Michael Cuesta’s film L.I.E. In 2006 she was accepted into SUNY Purchase Acting Conservatory. After moving to Los Angeles she starred in Enderby Entertainment’s movie Blood Shed as Jezebel. Cherie can be seen in the upcoming film Breaking Tradition as Mrs. Shariff. Cherie’s LA television credits include Chelsea on HBO’s The Newsroom and Marissa on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars. She is excited to be cast as the role of Lena Bella in the upcoming Season 3 of Banshee on Cinemax.
