Newcomer Blaine Morris is making a powerful entrance on the scene with a recurring
role on MTV’s most talked about new show SKINS. Morris plays lesbian ‘Betty
Nardone,’ the love interest of ‘Tea’ (Sofia Black D’Elia) in the remake of the original
UK version of the same title. The show airs Monday’s at 10PM on MTV.
A New Jersey native, Morris has been a musical theatre performer her whole life
and has appeared in several TV commercials. After high school, Morris attended
Elon University as one of only 7 girls in their BFA musical theatre program. While in
school she signed on to be part of the SKINS writing advisory team where she caught
the eye of creator and head writer Byan Elsley who asked her to audition for the
show in the role that she was ultimately cast.Morris currently resides in New York City.
