Why update your status with simple text when you can let people know what you're doing with a video instead? Keek is a new social networking platform that allows users to instantly share "video status updates" with friends and family via their webcam or mobile device.

Users can record up to 36 seconds of video – a.k.a. "keeks" – using either a webcam, iPhone or Android device. A keek, by definition, is "a quick look, glance, or peek." A fitting name for the new platform, as users can virtually record and send a keek in under a minute.
