Pokémon Platinum, to be released in Japan as Pocket Monsters Platinum, is an announced title in the Pokémon series of video games. It will be an enhanced remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl in the same vein as Pokémon Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald. On May 2008, it was announced on the official Pokémon website to be slated for an September 13th 2008 release in Japan. The US release is on March 19th 2009 and the Game is called "Pokémon Platinum Version" in the English-spoken countries. The PAL release is on May 22nd 2009.
