The Tacoma Dome is an indoor arena located in Tacoma, Washington, USA, approximately 30 miles south of Seattle. The Tacoma Dome first opened its doors to the public in April, 1983. With a total seating capacity of 23,000 and when overall volume is taken into consideration, the Tacoma Dome is the single largest arena with a wooden dome in the world.
The venue is tailor-made for sports, and over the years has hosted a wide variety. Basketball, hockey, soccer, gymnastics, wrestling and even bull-riding have all featured on the Tacoma Dome schedule in the past.
