The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is the first major performing arts facility built in metro Atlanta, GA in four decades. The $145 million center celebrated its grand opening on September 15, 2007. Located in northwest Atlanta, the state-of-the-art venue hosts Broadway shows, ballet, opera, concerts, educational shows, family performances, corporate meetings, and private events. In addition to the 2750-seat John A. Williams Theatre, the Cobb Energy Centre features the 10,000-square foot Kessel D. Stelling, Jr. Ballroom, a courtyard, and a terrace.
