Loose Women is a British lunchtime television programme, first broadcast in 1999 on ITV. Created by Dianne Nelmes, it consists of a panel of four women who interview celebrities and discuss topical issues, ranging from daily politics and current affairs, to celebrity gossip and sexism. Despite a good launch, Loose Women changed its name to Live Talk[when?] and the show wasn't popular and considered too journalistic. Loose Women returned with a new editor and producer with a brief to overall[clarification needed] the show. The show was turned around into a ratings winner; most of this has been put down[by whom?] to Helen Warner, Fiona Keenaghan, Karl Newton, Emily Humphries, Donna Gower and Alan Boyle. See Less
