Eric Cartman is a young boy from the town of South Park, Colorado. He is spoilt, extremely selfish and frequently seeks personal gain at the expense of others. He is renowned for his discriminatory nature, which includes hatred for anyone black, ginger or foreign and an extreme hatred of the Jews. He despises classmate Kyle Brovlovski for this trait and often voices this opinion.

He is also very cunning with a knack for preaching to and manipulating crowds, which makes him quite a dangerous individual who often finds himself the antagonist in any confrontational situation.

He idolises those usually percieved to be evil by the rest of the world such as Hitler and Rob Reiner. Many have tried to kill Eric Cartman, but although he is frequently caprtured or abducted, he continues to thrive on the stupidity of the masses.

Cartman is also a survivor of the AIDS virus.
