The 2008 Miami Masters (known as Sony Ericsson Open for sponsorship reasons) was a joint ATP Tour and WTA Tour tournament that took place on the hard courts in Miami, Florida. It ran from March 24 to April 6. The tournament was part of the Tennis Masters Series on the 2008 ATP Tour and was classed as a Tier I event on the 2008 WTA Tour.
