Cipriani Wall Street stands as a triumph of Greek Revival architecture, as well as a grand and luxurious venue for weddings and social events. Occupying an entire city block, this New York Landmark served as the home of the New York Merchants' Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange and the US Customs House, as well as the headquarters of the National City Bank.
The 16,000 square foot venue is framed by four sets of monolithic Corinthian columns, Cipriani Wall Street features a 70 foot ceiling with a Wedgewood dome.
55 Wall, an address that combines the historic Merchants' Exchange and the former Regent Wall Street Hotel — the same space Mr. Cipriani sold in 1999. This property is now on its way to becoming a luxurious fortress of apartments, complete with a billiard room, barbershop and butler service. (Should one of the gentlemen evoked in the brochure require it, there is a copy of "The Prostate Cancer Protection Plan" on the shelves of a model $1.4 million unit.)
