Equus is a play by Peter Shaffer written in 1973, telling the story of a psychiatrist who attempts to treat a young man who has a pathological religious/sexual fascination with horses. The original play opened in London and Broadway more than three decades ago.

Daniel Radcliff stars in the recent revival of this psychodrama breought to the Broadway stage in September 2008. Radcliff takes on the role of Alan Strang, a 17 year-old surburan stableboy who commits grotesque crimes against horses. See Less
