Matthew Russell Rolston (born March 1, 1955) is an American fashion and celebrity photographer and music video director. He was born and raised in Los Angeles and after studying art at various schools in California he started to develop an eye for photography. It is said that Rolston was discovered by Andy Warhol at a young age which gave him the big break to shoot for Interview Magazine. He has worked for the worlds leading magazines including Rolling Stone and Harper's Bazaar. According to Matthew Rolston's official website he has photographed "virtually every celebrity from the film, music and television arena".
