Nicole Elikolani Valiente Scherzinger (born June 29, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress who is best known as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls.

Previously, Scherzinger was part of reality TV girlgroup Eden's Crush and despite minor chart successes she left due to being unhappy. She then joined the Pussycat Dolls, taking the role of lead singer of the group. PCD have released 2 successful albums. In between the 2 albums, Scherzinger made her first attempt at a solo album (Her Name is Nicole) which proved unsuccessful.

After the disbandment of the group, Scherzinger released her debut solo album, Killer Love, in 2011, which spawned a number of hit singles - "Poison", "Don't Hold Your Breath" and "Right There". "Don't Hold Your Breath" also charted at number 1 in the UK and became one of the best selling singles in the UK of 2011. See Less
