Louis Tomlinson, age 20 (born 24 December 1991) is an English musician, who is currently one-fifth of the ever-popular British boyband, One Direction.
Tomlinson was born in Doncaster, to mother, Jay and father, Mark. He attended Hall Cross School, in which he re-visited with his band members for their homecoming gigs for their final week on British television show, The X Factor.
It is well-known that Louis and his fellow band members had all applied as solo contestants, but failed to qualify for the Boys category and consequently, were not through to Judges' houses. The judges (Cowell, Walsh and Scherzinger), after a suggestion by Cowell, put them in a band, qualifying them for the Groups category. See Less
