Born into a musical family and singing since she was six, Brittany used to be too nervous to perform in front of a crowd. Finally in Year 10, she plucked up enough courage to audition for her school stage band as a vocalist and got the part. This not only gave her the confidence she was lacking but developed her love of jazz and blues. Brittany subsequently teamed up with her brother to play at restaurants, churches and fundraisers. After high school, Brittany wanted to pursue a career as a music teacher at University but couldn't keep up with the theory side of her course and dropped out. See Less
