The Sweeney is an upcoming 2012 British police drama, based on the television series of the same name. It is directed by Nick Love and written by Love and John Hodge, based on the characters created by Ian Kennedy Martin. The film stars Ray Winstone as Jack Regan and Ben Drew as George Carter.
