Anja Rubik is a Polish model, currently living in New York City. Although she claims to be born June 12, 1985 in Częstochowa, Poland, she was actually born in 1981. Rubik lived in Greece, Canada, and South Africa as a young girl. She was introduced to modeling at a young age. She was in a British high school in Paris at the time. She wanted to finish her schooling before officially becoming a model, therefore she only worked on school holidays. Shortly after graduating she began her career, and was featured on the cover of various magazines, including Numero, Flair, Nylon, Elle, and more. She has modeled for Givenchy, Chloé, Christian Dior, Hermès, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and many other top designers. She has also done haute couture for Valentino, Chanel, and Elie Saab. Besides modeling she enjoys art, reading, cinema, scuba diving, and traveling. See Less
