I don't get it...is this the REAL ring she wears in the movie....or is it just a ring as a tribute to the book?

This is the ring that Stephenie Meyer authorized as what she envisioned Bella's engagement ring to look like.

I ordered my ring! I'm peeved that I missed the 10% off sale but at least I'm getting it. Does anyone have an actual picture of the ring? (not one from the website)

Sorry but this ring turned my finger VERY green. I am VERY upset.

EW!!!! It's ugly.

ew! I'd imagined the ring to be way smaller! a little more delicate. this is so unlike Bella, it's way too big!

That is so unlike the description in the book...how disappointing! Too ostentatious for Bella!

Yeah I was imagine a smaller more delicate ring too. If you go back and watch Twilight at the part where Edward is telling Bella about Carlisle turning him and then it does the flashback and you see Carlisle changed Edward. Edward is wearing the ring on his pinky finger. That is the ring that was suppose to be used, it was his mothers wedding one and they put it in the movie Twilight so people could see it, so idk why they changed it and went with a bigger one. Cuz in that scene, you can see that it is smaller and more delicate, which is how it should have stayed. I think SM just wanted the ring to be the one that she had made and approved of.

Hi!
I would like to know if any of you this ring, it rubs off on your finger?
Could you post photos please?
Thanks! :)

I have it and I don't really wear it. Just have it as a memento. The picture of the ring in the box is the one of mine.

oh OK thanks for your answer, it's beautiful :) I really want it! I think that I will ordered it :)

It sure does rub off on your finger...

Whatever the ring is coated in (rhodium the website says) it's already starting to rub off of my ring and I think I've only worn it 3 or 4 times. That picture I took is from the second time I wore it and I fell asleep with it on my finger one night. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this ring. It is so pretty and it sparkles and it's not overly huge like everyone thinks...it is on the bigger size but it isn't THAT big IMO.

I never notified the company even though I think for $60 they should produce a better product....Sooner or later I'm just going to paint it with clear nail polish or something or maybe I can see about getting it coated for real, but I don't know how that works.

Pinkie, you should contact Infinite Jewelry Co. They have a lifetime warranty, and they'll send you a brand new ring. I got one of the first ones when they were only selling them through Twilight Teez, and I've never had a problem with it. I LOVE this ring, too!

Does anyone know whether the ring in the movie is the white gold or yellow gold version??? If you consider Edward's origins and early 20th century upbringing, I think it must be the yellow gold.

i love this ring ..its awsome

I love this ring, simply beautiful!

Does anyone know the reason behind the change of the ring from Eclipse to Breaking Dawn?
