Alexander Wang is an American fashion designer who was born in San Francisco. He moved to New York City at 18, attended Parsons The New School for Design and interned at Teen Vogue before launching a line of cashmere sweaters his sophomore year.[1] He launched his first full collection of womens wear in 2007.[2]

He was nominated for a 2008 Council of Fashion Designers of America in Womens' Wear and won a $200,000 prize as the CDFA/Vogue (magazine) Fashion Fund Award winner. See Less
