Marco Mengoni's first tour, following the successful release of his second EP "Re matto" (Mad King). Described as "a journey through craziness", the "Re matto tour" is characterized by complete freedom, poetry, insanity and improvisation, making every show unique. Choreographies, costumes by Claudia Tortora, Cristiana Lionello's recorded voice and as stage design an enourmous chessboard, created and designed by Mengoni, Stella Fabiani and Luca Tommassini, director of the show. There will also be surprise guests, and Mengoni will be unaware of them until they join him on stage.
The set list includes more than twenty songs: besides Mengoni's own songs there will be numerous covers, of both Italian and foreign artists (Psycho Killer by Talking Heads, See me feel me by The Who, Nessuno by Mina, Almeno tu nell'universo by Mia Martini and more). The tour began on May 1, 2010 in Osimo and after more than 60 shows it is scheduled to end on September 11, 2010 in Milan. See Less
