Damon most commonly wears his jacket for most of the show. He is pale with light blue eyes and brown hair. He is also commonly seen with a black shirt on.
His personality is a lot different to that of his brother. He comes across as quite arrogant at times and shows no remorse for the killings he has committed. He enjoys causing his brother Stefan emotional and physical pain. Damon is also very seductive and is willing to do what it takes to get what he wants. He enjoys toying with people and wreaking havoc.
Damon is over 100 years old and originally came from Mystic Falls. It seems to have been a while since his last visit to the town. Damon Salvatore's father Giuseppe Salvatore was always disapproving of Damon and Giuseppe was a vampire hunter.
