Annie Walker (played by Piper Perabo) is smart, beautiful, and a CIA field operative. She has a knack for picking up languages as she travels; she can be as fluent as a local, but also has a keen eye for accents and can detect where a speaker is from, down to the exact region. She got her heart broken after being left by her ex, Ben Mercer, in Sri Lanka. He suddenly disappeared, leaving only a cryptic note and a suspecting Annie.
