The Blackberry Torch 9810 was released by Research in Motion, as the successor to the original BlackBerry Torch 9800. While physically very similar to the 9800, it includes a number of significant hardware upgrades and support for RIM's updated Blackberry OS 7 operating system.
The specifications for this device include a 1.2 GHz processor chip as opposed to the 624 MHz processor of its predecessor. 768 MB internal RAM and 8GB built-in memory storage is also included in this new design (compared to 512 MB internal RAM and 4GB built-in memory storage from the original Torch 9800). The device has a microSD removable card slot to expand its memory capacity and faciltate external storage.
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 has been designed to work superbly in the latest 4G HSPA network since it possesses the tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps data connection capabilities. See Less
