Canon has reduced the resolution of the new PowerShot G11, which replaces the popular 14-megapixel G10 model, to a sensible 10 megapixels and coupled the new, high-sensitivity CCD chip with the DiG!C 4 image processor. Together they promise improved low-light capability with reduced image noise and blurring. Also new on the G11 is a 2.8-inch vari-angle, high resolution LCD screen with approximately 461,000 dots. The lens is the same 5x optical zoom lens (28-140mm in 35mm format) as in the G10. See Less
