Gerald Darel was founded in 1971. The brand's clothing lines have been posh and superior in quality ever since. Gerard Darel is a delicate luxury that captures the style of Paris.

Gérard Darel is a Parisian fashion house. Dedicated to Ready-to-Wear, the brand also offers accessories for women like handbags and shoes.

Renowned in France, Gérard Darel take their French elegance international in 1996 with the revamp of a black pearl necklace originally belonging to Jackie Kennedy. The new design becomes a favourite for fellow first lady, Hilary Clinton, as well as Charlize Theron and Meryl Streep.

In 2000, the label call on Charlotte Gainsbourg to front their campaigns; the actress helps the brand to appeal to a wider, younger audience. Gérard Darel, now a favourite among young women, their mothers and grandmothers, launch the fresher, more affordable, Pable diffusion line in 2008.
