The 28-year-old womenswear designer grew up between Montreal and Birmingham, before training at the Royal College of Art in London. After graduating he worked for Diane von Furstenberg in New York, and last year launched his own label, Erdem.

His imaginative and elegant debut collection won him the prestigious £100,000 Fashion Fringe award.
