Betty Marion White (born January 17, 1922) is an Emmy Award-winning American actress with a career spanning 60 years. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Sue-Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls, and has also made regular appearances on the game shows Password and Match Game.
