'Xavier Samuel', 27, is a young Australian actor. He grew up in Adelaide and graduated from Flinders University Drama Centre in 2005. He played Hamlet in the graduate production. Since this time he has worked professionally in both theater and film. He plays the central character in an Australian feature film 'September', directed by Peter Carstairs, which was released in 2007 and featured in the Toronto International Film Festival. His latest film Newcastle, directed by Dan Castle, had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2008. Xavier's mangement company has also confirmed that Xavier has been cast in Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight franchise based on the best-selling books by Stephenie Meyer. In Eclipse, Xavier will play Riley, a good-looking college student and newborn vampire, who will do anything to help Victoria murder Bella. See Less
