Musician Earl Scruggs plays for Warren Beatty at the 36th AFI Life Achievement Award show in 2008. Scruggs' music is featured in the classic film BONNIE AND CLYDE starring Beatty and Faye Dunaway with Gene Hackman, Michael J. Pollard and Estelle Parsons.

In a 2009 interview on American Routes, Scruggs recalled working with Warren Beatty on the movie Bonnie and Clyde.
